Alex Alben, American politician, author and technology executive, was named the first Chief Privacy Officer of Washington State in April 2015.  In this role, he has initiated state-wide programs for enhanced privacy training, consumer education and "Privacy Modeling", and was named as one of the country’s top 25 "Doers, Dreamers & Drivers" by GovTech Magazine for 2017.  Come hear what he has to say about the challenges Washington State is facing and what we all need to be paying attention to as well.
